Natalie with Veil Events was absolutely incredible from start to finish! I couldn’t imagine being able to do it without her. She put so much thought into every little detail, and made the day run so smoothly. I mistakenly didn’t think to iron my napkins before hand, and she had them all steamed moments before the reception. There was a miscommunication with the florist and the flowers I had wanted on the tables weren’t delivered. Right before walking down the aisle she told me she would get it taken care of. We came back down after the ceremony and they were there! She even ran back to the hotel to get some things for me mid reception. She took care of everything with ease and was so sweet and caring throughout the whole process. I seriously couldn’t recommend a better planner!!!

My husband and I hired Veil to plan our April 2026 wedding in downtown KC. Our planner, Kaylie, made planning our wedding an absolute dream. She is incredibly organized and kept us on a great schedule in the months leading up to the big day. She came to every call with a clear agenda and always sent a list of to-dos afterwards which was so helpful! What really set Veil apart was how the team handled our day-of coordination. I was worried I’d be nervous thinking about last minute details, but Kaylie, Kezia, and Caitlynn worked in perfect sync and handled every detail (of which there were SO many) flawlessly. I went into my first look (right on time!) feeling so relaxed and present, and that feeling was priceless. So many guests have commented on the perfect flow of the day, and how nothing seemed too rushed and yet nothing lagged; that was entirely due to Kaylie’s planning and expertise. I would recommend Veil and Kaylie without hesitation to any couple looking for a wedding planner!

Katie Watkins is the best!!! As someone who never had any experience with wedding planning, since I grew up in a different country where our weddings and preparation for them are very different. I had no idea where to start. Choosing the Veil Events was the best thing we did and I’m so thankful we got to work with Katie! For an entire year, Katie was incredibly supportive. She was always available to answer my (sometimes way too many!) questions, stayed in constant communication, and responded quickly, often even outside of normal business hours and made the whole process so much less overwhelming. On the day of our wedding, Katie and her team were absolutely amazing. They handled every detail behind the scenes, from decorating the venue to making sure our guests knew exactly where to go and what to do. Everything ran so smoothly that I truly never had to worry about a single thing. I was able to be fully present and enjoy one of the happiest days of my life.

I had the privilege of having Katie as a wedding planner through Veil Events using the Wedding Management package. This worked perfectly for me, since I had already booked most vendors but was overwhelmed with the details and coordination of planning a wedding. Monthly meetings with Katie broke the whole process down into manageable tasks. On the big day, I had zero worries and felt so confident I was going to have the perfect day. And I did! Katie and Veil Events were amazing. I don’t think there was a single hiccup, and if there was she made sure it wasn’t known to me! I was especially nervous about tear down with a very strict venue policy, but Katie and her assistant had no problem getting everything packed up well before the cut-off. She took all the burden off myself and my family and I am so grateful for her!

We worked with Katie and she was absolutely amazing! Not only did she make the planning a breeze and kept us organized and less stressed throughout the whole process but the day of the wedding couldn’t not have gone better and that is because of katie and her team! Avril events overall was a wonderful group to work with, they were very professional and nice and helpful in any way they could be. I will be definitely recommending them to any future brides I may know!

We could not be more thrilled with how our wedding day went, and we owe so much of that to Veil Events and especially our coordinator Kezia! I, like many brides-to-be out there, got engaged and had no idea what I was doing when it came to wedding planning - what needs to happen when? What am I not thinking about that I should be thinking about? How do I take these ideas from my head and make them happen in real life? Let me tell you - Kezia had answers for ALL the questions, most even before I asked! She brought so much life and energy to our meetings all while keeping us on track. On the day, Kezia was like a second mom to us, and nailed our vision to a tee! Despite being pulled in 100 different directions throughout the day between setup and herding our families and bridal party, either her or her assistant Caitlynn were always within reach if my husband or I needed anything. From getting on her hands and knees to help me put my shoes on, to fastening the buttons of my dress so my mom didn’t have to get out the crochet hook, being ready with water or drinks at a moment’s notice, reinforcing my bustle when I was worried it would come undone during our choreographed dance… all with smiles on their faces…. Kezia and Caitlynn really went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Lindsay at veil events did an amazing job helping us planning and organizing our special day!! Our wedding day went seamlessly and she prioritized us and made sure we didn’t worry about a single thing. She helped us plan everything 6 months out along with all of our stationary! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Kezia & Caitlynn are the DREAM team. I have never in my 15 years as a wedding photographer seen a planner/coordinator/curator work as hard as the two of these ladies at a wedding. They truly love their couples and make sure that everything is perfect. From large scale decor installations down to the bobby pin & tissues for unexpected tears. They were ready, and were even able to anticipate the needs of the couple.
